| About Us |
The central Florida musicians association was founded in 1924 as "The Musicians Protective Association." Those were the days when Labor and Management were assumed adversaries by their very nature. However, for the last couple of decades Labor and Management have been making strides towards working together, in order to create more amiable working relationships. As part of our commitment to this philosophy, the CFMA is an active member of Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) and The Florida Labor Management Conference (FLMC). LERA and FLMC are made up of leaders from Labor and Management who share a common goal of promoting "Progress Through Partnership." Today, we remain committed to this goal in hopes of building a legacy of trust between parties that will stand the test of time. Please stop by our office any time. We’d love to speak with you personally. Board of Directors: Mike Avila Deborah Dansby Wells Sam Zambito Daniel Jordan Howard Herman Nancy Crockford Barry Smith Michelle Jones |
